Panguitch History

Panguitch was settled in 1864 by Mormon pioneers. There's no question why they would have chosen such a place, just look around at the endless beauty of the area. Always in the colorful view of the Aquarius Plateau the central location makes it convenient to plan a day trip to numerous parks and monuments.

Panguitch is home to pleanty of recreation, shopping and annual community events like the Cowboys Ain't Dead Yet Rodeo in April or the Desperado Dual Bicycle Rally in August just to name a couple!
